March 15-17, 2002

This past March, I went to Ohio to visit Mau for the weekend. I had an OK time even tho it was freezing the whole 3 days I was there! Stupid me didn't think it'd be so bad, so I didn't bring Frankie's nice, warm faux fur coat. Instead I opted for my rather thinly-lined silver rain coat... Yeah that was brilliant of me! Aside from the ice cold rain and wind, I had a decent time.

We toured around Columbus and Dublin while I was there. We went to the movies twice and to a surprise party for his friend's birthday. And the malls, we went to 2 of them - I'm a girl and I like shopping so hush! hahaha

On Suday before I left, we drove around downtown Columbus and went to the very first built Wendy's. It was cool cuz it's like a shrine to all the advertisements in print they've ever had. We mostly just drove around and I took pictures of all the deadness. It is so hard to see the dead grass and leave-less trees when I came from Florida where everything is thriving and green! I was so happy to be getting back on the plane and going home. I'm sure it's a decent city at some point of the year, but I really didn't like it at all and never want to go back!
